- Admission procedure is slow and a little bit of delay.Exam results and certification is only provided after a long delay which can take upto 6-7 months.
- College infrastructure is okay but sometimes its not maintained properly and students often gets dehydrated due to lack of air conditioning.
- Course fees reduction and scholarship are only provided to reserved students which should be changed too .
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it's a demanding and highly valued sector. The health sector and life science are developing faster than we can imagine. Biochemistry is a field that covers all life science which includes molecular biology, biotechnology, plant and animal science, etc. Students have a relaxing environment and an adaptive syllabus which meets completely to the student ratio. Teachers are more friendly and helpful. The teaching method is followed by modern education methods like PPT presentations, research guidance, projects, seminars, etc. which help the students to get an idea about the subject and to complete the syllabus without any troubles and workload. Term exams were conducted at the end of each semester. Before that, they conduct a model examination for students to give an idea about the question patterns and timing. Terms exams are not that difficult, questions are only based on ur syllabus and reference books obtained from the Library.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total cost of the course is about 11000 to 12000 based on reservation and ur backlogs. course fees are determined by the government and its completely fixed amounts. Scholarships are only provided to the students who fall under the reservation category. However, students who score more than 90 percent in 12th can apply for yearly scholarship plans provided by the government. Financial assistance is provided by the government for students with reservations. part-time jobs and stipends are not available for UG students.
Campus Life
Annual fests are conducted during special occasions such as Onam, Christmas, etc. About 3-5 fest are conducted in a year. The college has an aesthetically constructed auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000 persons. It has an onstage, guest room, and toilet along with a green room. The seminar hall is well-designed with a seating capacity for 250 participants. It is well equipped with all the latest audio-visual facilities, including an interactive board facility. The language lab under the direction of a faculty member capable of instructing twelve students simultaneously provides coaching to students of the Communicative English classes along with the students of the spoken English classes.college provides gymnasium, different sport's events such as cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, etc.
Admission
The admission process was quite easy I guess. College management provides student cells conducted by senior students and NCC candidates in order to guide newly joined students in that college. They guide you properly to the admission center and give proper instructions to submit your documents and personal details forum. Eligibility of course is based on the marks you obtained in the 12th sector. Students who scored at least a score greater than 90 percent can achieve a spot here without going into any difficulties and tensions. Application forms, fees, and dates are provided by the official website of Kerala University one week before the allotment process. Reservation benefits are only applicable to students who came under OBC, OEC, SC, AND ST. Reservation benefits include fees reduction,E grands, scholarships, etc. The admission process is quite easy and adaptive but sometimes it's a little bit a slow process which can often take 1-2 months to complete the whole process i think that something should improve.
