Remarks

There is no good ground or volleyball court or basketball court.Only a bad ground is there no facilities are provided. And another major problem is the heat. There is no trees or any place to sit with cool wind or shade.Every where is hot.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course i am studying is physics with computer application it is a double main graduation. Both physics and computer have equal importance so i am able to do higher studies in both subjects. The role of computer in physics field is also very high so there will be many opportunities for this course.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college is not providing any internship they only provide classes and labs. They only guide us to take degree.Internships are not provided. There is a lifeskill program calles asap it is the only thing college is providing for students

College Events

4

Many of the events are celebrated. The events are conducted by college union by the guidance of some teachers.Onam chouristmas holi newyear are the great ones. There is no techfest in college. There will be one in the following years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is mainly under semester basis. For a semester they charge below 2000 rupees. But many of the students have egrantz provided by the government. So they dont have to pay the fees.It is a great help for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

E grantz it is not actually provided by the college it is provided by the government for all those students studying in government college. All the fees including exam fees is covered in that scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Labs are very good and they are well equipped. There is a sprots club and many students are training for various sports items. Many students have also won in many sports items including cricket football etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumini network is very less and they are not providing any big help for the college.I dont know more about that but it is not seen anywhere.I think they are helping somehow but not that much we will wait and see.

Admission

I got admission in the last phase. They will publish a list according to the marks i scored in 12th.The seat availability was only 4 or 5 because it was the last phase.I was in 4th rank. But somehow the students above me didn't come for admission so i was lucky to get a seat.

Faculty

4

The teachers are highly qualified. Many of them have doctrate. They are so helpful for students. But some of them are not able to understand the studends. But it is not a great problem because of other good teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
