Course Curriculum Overview

Our teachers are very serious about teaching the great things in our subject. And also we are very grateful to have 5 great mathematics teachers in our department. And also the teachers are very helpful especially our head of department in the math department. Sir help us economically and mentally

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a Government University, only for them, the fees for courses are very low. And also only for them many poor students, like us, get a chance to read and stand in future. Fees per course - for science 2500 per course and for Arts -2000 per course and for commerce -2300 per course. Our state Government has given us many scholarships. And the scholarships are given only to poor merit students. The scholarship is 'The SVMCS' 'Nobanno scholarship, minority scholarship etc. Only for that thing the poor students like us get a great chance to read carefully and very well.

Campus Life

The ratio of males and females is 53:47. Many workshops happen in our college, like science fairs, awareness camps etc. and I try to attend all of them. Every student respects every teacher and the opposite gender's students. Every boy's student respects every girl's student, and also same things are happening in the opposite.

Admission

After the result of higher secondary, I filled up the form & submitted the documents. The whole process was online. After a few weeks the merit list was published & my name was included in that. Then I deposit the admission fee online. & they call me for verification. I verified my documents & chose my core subject, compulsory & others. I successfully got the admission & they got me an identity card.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. To be honest Bolpur college is not the best or very good college under Burdwan university. But it's one of the good colleges around our area. It is near the station, so you don't have any trouble finding the college.Our college is under Burdwan university, so the questions & rules are the same as other colleges under the Burdwan university. College had enough buildings & classroom for all the departments.Also there are library, student counsellor, common rooms. Every department has good teachers. At the end of the semester students scored good marks. Practical rooms are full of equipments, so you don't have a problem there.
