- Great hostels are provided. You get a lot of opportunities to pursue your interest.
- Placement is really great and we can also use our 'IIT tag' to get into good universities abroad.

Dislikes
- As the hostels are new and something are in constructions phase, we face some difficulties.
- A lot of competition is there. Which is good, but you may feel lonely in the college.
- Some faculties are not able to teach properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering Science is a versatile branch and great if want to have experience in all the subjects of engineering, After 3rd sem we can choose specialisation in different branches. Student-to-faculty ratio is approx 30:1 to 20:1. Great teachers, all have phd from great universities.
Internships Opportunities
As I am in 2nd year, there is not much data to look into. But the average package of some branches was around 18-20 lpa and for 4-5, international internships were grabbed by students. You need to learn trending skills and language (js, c++) and DSA to get a good internship.
Placement Experience
Great placement was there, but the packages were a bit less due to the recession. placement percent is around 98-99%. Many students go for higher studies, I am also thinking of doing MBA or preparing for UPSC. The highest packege this year was around 70-72 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are currently more than all the IITs and it is 144300. Many scholarships are available for students with family incomes less than 5lpa and backward castes students. IITs provide placement opportunities and the average package is 18lpa in my branch.
Campus Life
Best hostels and classrooms all over India. You can find all the books you need in the library, we can request the books if we want to read and the library will arrange it. The new sports complex will be opening soon and it will also be the best among all colleges in India. There is a club for each and everything you can think of - Competitive Programing, etc.
Hostel Facilities
New Hostels have been given to 2nd years and few 1st years. Single room with all the facilities and centrally cooled system in all the hostels. Mess food is good. We can register for the hostels during the time of admission and pay the fees during start of each semester.
Admission
We need to give jee advanced after getting selected in jee mains. Based on the rank of Jee Advanced we can fill our choices for IITs and it is important to get a good rank in order to get into IIT Hyderabad. Jee advanced can be given 2 times, with 12th and after 12th. Reservation is there in all IITs based on current government laws.
