Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very interesting for the core fields. the professors are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. If you want to go into core fields and get hired by good govt companies. this is one of the best options you have. The classes are mostly 9 to 6 with multiple breaks in between.
Internships Opportunities
There are good companies that come for internship programs that provide decent stipends to the students. A good cgpa and great coding skills are all you need to get an internship from this college.
Placement Experience
This college beats many IITs in placement records. The networks are so strong that very good companies visit every year the TPO makes sure that everyone gets a job out of this college. The highest package last year(2023) is 1.3 crores and the average package is around 22 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is 1.85 lakh per year and the hostel fee is 50,000 per year which is almost equal to all other govt engineering colleges. You can also apply for different government scholarships which you'll be informed by your seniors.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the campus is better than many of the IITs out there. The campus is a very good place to hang around. There are multiple cafes on the campus with many gardens too. There is a gym, TV rooms and many other recreational activities. The Library is really good fully air-conditioned with the availability of newspapers and journals every day.
Admission
The admission is through the JEE mains examination conducted by the National testing agency. It is conducted twice in a year one in January and the other in April. The cutoff to get in my college is scoring 95 %ile marks in jee mains (minimum) which is equivalent to scoring 140/300 marks in the exam.
