The Inside Information About MNNIT

I chose this course because of the evergreen nature of the chemical industries and there is security of getting the job. There is faculty: student ratio of about 1:4 in our department as there are 16 faculty for 59 students. Out of the 16 faculty, there are 3 professors, 6 associate professors, and 7 assistant professors. They are highly trained. The only problem is that they teach on the smart boards via PPTs so you have to be very fast in making notes.

The companies that visited the campus were:- Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Apple, Atlassian, sprinkle, cred, BPCL, Indian Oil, Reliance Petroleum, etc. And the majority of the companies come for the post of SDE and analyst. There are 3 rounds for placements.

After 6 th sem students are eligible for placements. Google Microsoft, Amazon, and about 350 companies visited the campus last year and offers made were close to 1200. The highest package offered was by A10 Networks whose CTC was 1.35crore. The average was about 22 lakh. About 95 percent of students are placed through college placements. My plans are to do an MBA after this.

Fees hike is very low as it is a government-funded institute because it comes under an institute of national importance. The cost of study is medium as compared to private colleges. I Come in the creamy layer of the general category so I don't get any financial assistance. I am currently in 2nd year and campus is offered in starting of the final year.

There are 3 festivals conducted in a year. Avishkar-Tech Fest (in October). Culrav-Cultural fest(in March). Gynosis-Literary Fest (in December). There are about 1.5 lakh books in the college library. The class is equipped with ACs and Smart Boards. There are many sports and cultural activities in the college. There are 3 grounds On the campus.

The room is equipped with a bed, fan, study table, tea table, and a cushioned chair. The food quality is good and as the mess is managed by the student mess committee we have the choice to choose our own menu items. The registration process is very easy just have to fill out a form during admission it the affordable. The locality is not suitable for the rented room as There are very less rooms and that too they are very far away.

As it is a Nit we got admission on the basis of jee mains rank and this exam is conducted twice every year but NTA. The application form was available on the josaa website which costs 4000 rupees for Indian citizens the application dates change every year but they start at the end of June month. Yes, there is a reservation available for OBC, EWS, ST, SC, and PwD category students. But I was a general candidate so I didn't get any benefit.
