Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to be an IIT engineer so I chose these courses. The faculty members here are qualified very much they have done some specialty courses in their fields. We have TAs to help us and are taught from slides which are also made available to us. The ratio is around 1:12 . There are two semesters in a year but there are many quizzes held in between. It is really not very easy to pass some courses were really difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
We can do internships after 2nd year. The institute provides us the internships after 2nd year but the students could also apply to different ones accordingly. The internship opportunity is good. Some people get engrossed in some research projects ongoing in college like some solar or aerospace things.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year the students are eligible for campus placements. Around 400 companies visit IIT Bombay. The no. Of the offers made were around 1500. Companies like Qualcomm, Accenture, Honda, and Morgan Stanley visit where 89% of students are placed. My plan after doing BTech is to do an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are 300000 approx and the semester fee is 225000 and the rest is the mess and hostel fees. Various scholarships are available to students they have to apply for them and had to just fit into the criteria of the scholarship. Remission of fees is one sich policy. Didnt gkt a job until now.
Campus Life
The are are many fest held on our campus The most famous is MOOD INDIGO which is held in the month of December next is Techfest also held in December and E-Summit is held in the month of January or February. We could find many books in the library. The classrooms are really good here they are very spacious and are AC rooms. These colleges have each and every sport you could play there are proper grounds and proper teams to play. Also many other activities like dance, vocals or instrumental these have clubs so students have to just join them without any prerequisite and these are run by students only.
Admission
The application form is found on the official website of JEE MAINS and the application fee for girls was 800 rs and for jee advance was 1450rs this is for the general category. All the dates are announced on the website itself so keep checking the website for any details.
