The course curriculum is really great and focuses on interactive learning. our curriculum focuses on the practical implementation of studies. Faculty members are highly qualified and have vast experience in research.

IIT mandi has strong industrial relationships and the career development cell of iit mandi conducts regular workshops on internships. many companies visit to hire interns for the summer period. internship period may range from 6 to 9 weeks.

Placement Experience

placements at iit mandi are amazing and the highest among all second-gen iits. more than 400 companies visit our campus including companies like Amazon, google, etc. The highest package was 1.2 cr while the average package was 28 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of iit mandi is divided into semester-wise fees. the tuition fee for each semester is one lakh. There are many scholarships for students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. there is fee remission for students too.

Campus Life

Campus life of iit mandi is really great and amazing. IIT Mandi is one fastest growing 2nd gen iit located in the heart of the Himalayas. sports facilities are really good. all types of different sports are available.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facilities of iit mandi are good and two or three member sharing rooms are allocated to everyone. everyone is given a bed, almira, and study table. mess facility at iit mandi is really appreciable and amazing.

Hostel Fee: INR 2500 per year

Admission

The admission process is through the jee entrance exam. One has to clear both jee advanced as well as jee mains to be eligible for iit. jee is an entrance exam conducted by a national testing agency all over India.

Why to get IIIT UNA in 2025

Placement Experience:

the placemts of my college is just average about 12 lakhs average package and 30 lakhs max this year but max is 60 lakhs p.a. from 7th sem students starts to get placements and got eligible the companies visited are amazon,flipkart , enfosys and many more'' the percentage of the students getting placed is about 80% till now my plans are to get on acmpus placement the best i can get

Placement Experience:

Yes campus placement is good I don't know much about it but one month ago one of our fourth year senior get 510000 package on a company and he is average student in their batch and if you have skill then you can easily get a placement so don't worry about it just chill in the college

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Some of the big tech giants visit us like google , Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Uber, Paytm, walmart, Flipkart, amazon, etc. Offers made in 2022-23 are more than 150 where company count was more than 70. Highest package is around 63 LPA (INDIA) whereas more than 1 CR (Out of India). Average package is around 33 LPA in 2022-23. Almost 80%+ students sitting in placement gets placed (according to 2022-23 data). My plan is to join tech firm either as SDE or Data Scientist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in electrical is very practical and real-life based. in real-life applications, we have to do LAB courses and research seminars with good professors. some courses are very helpful like Electrical Machines, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Electromechanics, Control Systems, Power Systems, Design Practicum, etc. We learn a lot of things from the above Courses. we have to learn that type of course which is based on electrical engineering but our college teaches us some HSS courses like English, Basic Communication skills, psychology and economics. for improvement in teaching methods colleges should take all classes in offline mode not in online mode because in it students can't understand. There are majorly two exams in our college Midsem and Endsem. endsem is more difficult compared to Midsem.

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
