Honest review of thakur college of engeenering and technology. TCET

I choose this computer engineering because it is in trending, and you can get jobs easily. And for my college placement is mind blowing Student and faculty ratio is 20 is to 1. Almost every faculty is either phd or ME/M.tech Term exams are moderate.. If you study only what teachers teaches in classroom.. You can easily avail 9 cgpa above. Since it is autonomous college it is not difficult to pass exam. You will have 4 in sem. And 2 semester exams

College provide in house internship with 5 to 10 k stipend. And some students also got 70k stipend internship of jp Morgan and 1 student got 1.25 lakh stipend from Microsoft. Professors also helped the students to do projects.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Almost 200+ companies vist for campus placement every year, Jp morgan, oracle tcs infosys mahindra, jio are major recruiting companies. Highest package 44lpa in Amazon but it was off campus. 25 students got 17.75 lpa in jp morgan which was within the campus 97 percent students got placement easily from tech branch and for total it is more than 80 percentage. Average package for this year was 6.15 lpa. My plan after getting the degree is doing masters from USA.

Fees for general candidates is 170k Obc/ebc /ews is 95k For sc/st it is 25k approx You can get tfws seats.. But cutoffs are very high for tfws.. But if your income is less than 8 lakh, so you can get ebc scholarship at the time of admission only.. Talking about internship, the college will provide you in-house internship for sure, but if you are good in coding you can get internship outside also, many students got 70k stipend internship from JP morgan and 1 student got from Microsoft 125 k stipend. Talking about placements, highest package for 2022 batch was 44lpa which was off campus from amazon... But wait, almost 25 students got 17.75lpa from jp morgan.. And almost 50 students got jobs more than 10 lpa which are in campus only. Placement percentage for computer related branch is 97 percent abive placement within campus. And for total it is more than 80 percent

Sojourn and zefyr are 2 popular fests which college held. Our library is Very big, you can avail e-books in your phone or laptop free of cost.. You can get every type of books easily there are many clubs in this college. You can join any one and talking about our campus area, it is very beautiful and big compare to other engeenering college in Mumbai

To admit in the TCET, you will require either mhtcet scorecard or JEE scorecard.. But my advice is to go with MHTCET exam becoz it is easy and many seats (90%) are available only for mhtcet candidates.. So it becomes easy to get admission. For this college you have to require atleast 94.5 percentile above for hindi linguistic candidate and for others it will be 96.5 percentile above.. I'm talking of computer engineering branch.. You have to participate in cap round or spot round to get admission in this course For cutoff.. There is no benefit for reservation candidates. But if you are from hindi mother tongue you can avail benefit, becoz 51 percent seats are reserved for hindi minority only
