The course is very effective and can be utilized in day to day activity ( one thing i would like to say that in the study of food technology we are not going to cook food.) It is the study of the chemical behavior and properties of the food.

Internship at NIFTEM is unique programme which allows students to have an on hand experience of the industry before they join their ranks. Students opt for internship either through the college placement division i.e. CRD or through self arranged mode. Students spend a min of 16 weeks in the industry and get an exposure in various domains of the industry ranging from QA, Supply Chain and Logistics, Production and Maintenance HR policies etc. The progress of the interns is measured on regular basis under the supervision of a college guide and a corporate guide allotted to him/her. Year on Year NIFTEM has been successful in sending its students to the top notch organization in the Country. having batch strength of 85 got internship offers in various sector of the food industry ranging from Chocolate, Biscuit, Ready to eat, Confectionary, Health and Energy drinks etc to name a few and also start ups like Fizzy Food Labs, Wimwi Foods, Yumist, Sickle Cell Innovations etc showed interest in Niftemites!!

The admission process is very simple.During the month of may and june, admission forms are available online.The admission is taken by the collage through JEE Mains marks.The student who have scored more the 60% and qualified in JEEmains are eligible to fill the form.During the month of July 3 rounds +spot round counselling occur.They select 180 students.

All of them are P.hD qualified faculty .Here the faculty are very cooperative and helpful.They teaches well . The lab are also good.We can learn lots of things here. Here the students also can do research and all.
