Remarks

Like i said the college and the facilities are so good.. the college is providing all facilities like wifi air conditioning facilitated class rooms good faculties.. but the only defect or bad thing is that they dont have any campus or ground for conducting more programs..

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Pros and consequences of engineering colleges

The eligibility of these courses is just a degree with a maths base or computer base and even any degree with maths can join these courses. An entrance exam is conducted called LBS and it should be written for merit admission. The application for the entrance exam is available by May, or June and the examination with fall in July. The exam is over 100multiple choice which covers over maths, computer, general knowledge and English. And application fees of 800is needed for general.
