As after the COVID paramedic situation our university have shorten our semester,like we have to study a 6 month long semester in just 3 months because of this we only get few lab time and most of the students don't know how to properly work on a program due to this

Our college haven't given as any intership program for there side we had to find a company and we did our intership their the college will provide as duty leave so our attendance will not be affected we have done a intership in python and machine learning in a campny called aesthetics in ernakulam

My fee is 80000 a year ,40000 a semester Kerala keam exam rank is considered in the allotment for the course and the fee structure varies over the rank and there other fee for sports and other activities

The overall experience with the campus life is we have some program which is conducted our department have an association in which we conducted different programs and all and there are some club avilable in the college which we can join if we want to

Admission

The college I have joined is just 10 km away from my Home my parents didn't let me go to another college as they wanted me near them so I joined this college there are many other colleges which are good

Faculty

The faculties of our department are friendly our exam system is like we have 2 series exam in a semester and the mark of the series is considered for internals we have to submit the assignment and project given to as in correct time

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Is engineering here worth it?

So eligibility for BTech is either KEAM or JEE. You will be getting a merit seat in this college if you've qualified KEAM with a fair mark. Pros and consequences of engineering colleges

The eligibility of these courses is just a degree with a maths base or computer base and even any degree with maths can join these courses. An entrance exam is conducted called LBS and it should be written for merit admission. The application for the entrance exam is available by May, or June and the examination with fall in July. The exam is over 100multiple choice which covers over maths, computer, general knowledge and English. And application fees of 800is needed for general. The candidates who don't appear for the entrance can also join the course by taking direct admission from the respective college on management seats...Read More

Temple of College in the middle of Nature

The first thing apart from academics about the college is its beauty. The college is surrounded by 500+ trees and the view that we get from each corner of the college is awesome. When I made an inquiry about the college I came to know about the better results, affordable fee structure, facilities, and talented faculties. So I chose this college.
