Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good especially for industrial sector as I am persuing B.Tech in Metallurgical and materials engineering which is about study of minerals and their processing. The faculty to student ratio is good . Teaching method is clear and simple and easy to understand. Yes the faculty members are highly qualified professionals

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 28500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like RSP, Nalco, NTPC, HAL provide internship opportunities. It starts at 4th semester during vacation where these companies start giving training to students and at 6th semester they provide stipend according to our work

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement after 7th semester where companies choose candidate as per his/her eligibility for job and skills Placements are excellent. Companies like adani, nalco, Jindal, tata, sail have visited and recruited many students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Everybody knows if you are reading in government degree institutions, the fees would be less Fees is minimal the yearly fees is around 25000 to 27000 There are a lot of opportunity of scholarship for the minorities as well as there is college provided bank loans i.e educational loan facility

Campus Life

Life at campus is excellent. The campus is surrounded by long trees which cools the atmosphere library remains open till 10pm. It is equipped with proper wifi connection so students can make their project with more efficiently Classrooms are equipped with smart board and wifi facilities are available

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good provided with individual bed for four or three according to hostel. Rooms are provided with table,chair,cloth hangar and cupboard Quality of meal is good. It brings homely taste For registration of hostel students have to fill up hostel allotment form and selected students are provided with rooms Selection is done as per CGPA in last semester exam

Hostel Fee: INR 21000 per year

Admission

Admission process were simple. After declaration of jee mains rank in state jee website choice filling options were available where we can select our stream and desired educational institutions. After our selection in desired college and in interested stream application form, application fees and dates to submit the application form are all uploaded at institute website from where we can get all information

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

In odisha we have a specific counselling procees named as OJEE counselling. In this we have to apply for many colleges as we want. Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
