What Students Say

Likes

Course structure - the course structure is good in this college beacuse we don't need to study some extra things that are not relevent to Compute science and engineering.
Placement - for the session 2018 - 2022, placement stats are 100%percent placement with a average of 10lpa.
We are getting 2 month semseter break so we Can explore the more things beyond our acedmics.

Dislikes

We don't have permanet campus so it ruin the campus life.
We don't have any annual fest or tech fest.
Gender ratio - Gender ratio for my batch is around 45:1.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is quite good and I am totally happy with this curriculum because in lots of colleges, the first-year student syllabus is the same for every Discipline but in our College, it is Specially designed for Computer Science students so we don't need to study some extra things. Student to faculty ratio is around 14:1 and all the faculties are Ph.D. holders. Term exams happened on time and if you will follow the whatever teacher taught in class then it becomes easy to pass.

Class Size: 103Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

there are not 100 percent chances of getting an internship. company visits the campus for an internship as well as a Full-time employee role. Whether you will get selected or not depend upon you. Most of the company coming for Software developer roles so you will get a project related to software development.

Placement Experience

From the beginning of the seven semesters, our placement session gets started. Placement stats are moderate not so good not so bad. previous year's placement record is 90% with an average placement of 12lpa and the highest is 42LPA. Around 30 company visits the campus and till we have only computer science student so this number of the company is good and enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is almost the same as other IIITs that are based on the PPP model. The actual fee is 95000 per semester and the hostel fee is 50000 per semester including mess. If you are an SC student then you can get a chance of scholarship. The name of the scholarship is Central Sector Scholarship for Top Class SC students int this Scholarship You receive around 230000 per Year and in the First year, you will get 45000 extra for a Laptop. There is another Scholarship as well but I don't have any idea about it.

Campus Life

Since We don't have our own campus So I can't say That Campus life is very good. Till now we don't have any big annual fest but We are working on this there are high chances of conducting the first fest. We have a decent number of books in our library and journals are there in the library, for academic purposes enough books are available. We have our Gymkhana structure that contains lots of clubs few of then them are tech club, drama club, open source club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

As I told we don't have our own hostel building, It's a rented building for a Hostel but you will get all facility of the hostel. all the rooms are three-seater but you will get separate cupboards, bed, table, fan, etc, Mess food is like typical Mess food don't expect too much.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Eligibility - On the basis of Jee's main rank. Need to participate in JoSSA counseling and on the basis of your jee main and choice filled by, you will be allotted the College. Yes, in this College there are reservation policies for getting admission for EWS, SC/ST, and OBC students. No fee waiver for any category student.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Its our lovely college TIU

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Don't join if you don't care about the iiit tag cause we have poor college life

I got Indian institute of information technology bhagalpur ece branch it's a good college as it has it's own permanent campus while we don't have that so that's why it is preferable in that way but our location is better with other facilities. Journey to start and Journey till the end

During Josaa counseling i applied to many top notch colleges and in the first round result was declared i got MMMUT gorakhpur ECE IOT and i was pretty excited to study IOT but as time passed by i noticed that this yeae the cutoff for ECE IOT in MMMUT went to low as to 2.5lac me being a 80K ranker with students of 2.5lac is not good as later i came to know that the class is what will be deciding which company will come to your college and how much will they offer for campus placement and moreover i found that its course cirriculum is also pretty much out dated and for something like ECE IOT that is such a new field i dodnt find it soothing. i didnt get rejected form the collegs i was expectingt to one of them was IET lucknow i should have took it if the AKTU consulling was not that late as it happened Admission process in our college is simple once you got selected through josaa or csab make you PAF 2 payment and confirm your seat then make the rest of 1st sem payement of instiution and...Read More

Review of IIIT KALYANI

For the getting into IIIT Kalyani, one need to clear the JEE Nains examination and need to have around 50 thousands rank. One major flaw is that there is no female reservations seats. Other than that OBC,SC,ST,EWS and PWD reservations are available. One necessary improvement needed in this college is the requirement of its own campus.
