My journey in MBBS college

Getting a score 597 in Neet 2022, I have applied for all the colleges in Odisha as most of us would do. The top 3 colleges i.e, SCB, MKCG and Burla were out of reach, after that my 4th priority was SLN MCH koraput over Balasore and Baripada due to connectivity issues from my hometow, also I've got some news of unavailability of faculties and some basic facilities. Sundergarh and keonjhar being the new colleges, I didn't opt for them as it would take some time to get all the resources and necessary equipments there required for praticals. All the government medical colleges accept NEET scores. So everything come down to NEET scores and your rank in the exam. I got the college through state quota. Out of 8 government medical colleges, SLN MCH, Koraput was my 4th option after the 3 top colleges including SCB MCH, MKCG MCH & VIMSAR, Burla solely because SLN MCH had hospital conveniently located across the road. I didnt get into other three college because of their high cutoffs. You've to appear for NEET which is a national level exam of three subjects including physics, chemistry and biology. If you're applying through All india Quota, the rank must be within 18k and if you're applying through state quota, it has been varying from 600 state rank to 850 state rank ( or AIR 20K - AIR 29K). I got this college according to my rank in NEET - UG. This college is not too old. In 2017 1st batch of MBBS had started. If you want to study in government medical college you have to clear NEET- UG with good marks. In 2022 if you get 600 marks out of 720 you may easily get the admission is government college. I have had applied for all govt medical colleges in my state, you get colleges on merit basis im NEET exam. Every college has a particularcut of. NEET is not everyone's cup of tea, it requires perseverance consistency n harwork, the college you get is your reward.
