Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teachers help students in every facet and are qualified in their respective fields. The course curriculum is relevant and teaches various core and non-core subjects and makes students industry-ready. They are not very effective in teaching and give less response to the student's queries and study-related problems

Placement Experience

4

Top recruiting companies for the students include Google, Infosys, Mahindra Comviva, Microsoft, HSBC, Newgen, Wingify, Libsys, Polestar, IHS Markit and Daffodil. The college has good placements with students getting placed in companies like AWS, MuSigma, Microsoft, etc. Overall, the placements on campus are decent, but if you are looking for something more than decent, you'll have to go for off-campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

My total btech fees are around 5-6 lakh for all four years.it is kinda low compared to other private colleges. but in comparison to other ipu colleges, it has no proper system the area is small and resembles a small school

Campus Life

3

There is no campus in this college it's just a building. There is no proper canteen, hostels are in bad condition, no sports facilities, and limited society out of which half are non-existent.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel Life experiences of almost every college are great as it is more about the student and less about the facilities. Some important points about Hostel at MSIT There are two separate hostels each one for boys and girls. The number of rooms is very limited and every room is twin-sharing with a common closed almirah. Bed table chair is provided and if someone wants a cooler in their room then bring your own cooler and pay extra charges. The strength of first and second-year students is maximum and they are allotted rooms on the third and second floor resp. There are around 13, 15 rooms for the 3rd year and 4 th year students combined as compared to 28 rooms for the first and second year each. MSI and MSIT students live together and sometimes you can find them room mate as well. Mess food is average so you may find students using Zomato Swiggy.

Admission

In my first year of btech, I've seen that the teachers focus on the course objectives and try their best to accomplish them. The placement of this college is very good almost every student got placed somewhere but they do not provide any internship so there is nothing to talk about the stipend. However, the internship is good and creates good knowledge of things that we need to know for working in an MNC. The faculty at MSIT is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at MSIT. No, I haven't opted for a hostel but my friends are there in it and give good reviews about the food. You can also join the telegram channel of ipu which provides you with all information about the college but the best site is college dunia for inquiries about any colleges. My course is btech but they teach us useless crap which does not help us but they still teach for the sake of a degree. Reasons for bad placements are not many mass recruiters visit our ca

Delhi Technological University - [DTU], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

National Institute of Technology - [NIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
