Likes

I liked the environment of gec, because all the Freinds are supportive type.
You will also like the college campus, it is nice.
Also the faculties are supportive in the gec.

Dislikes

Sometimes, some book which you need from library and it is not available in the library, it is not good, but sometimes this happen.
In rainy season you have to manage with water problem when the situation of heavy rain arise.
Also, the timings of university-GTU , and not for college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in computer-related fields so I choose the BE in computer engineering. The faculties are well educated in the department and the method of teaching is nice and understandable but sometimes and in some subjects only you will have to learn some topics on your own, but it will happen in only some of the cases, possibly 5%.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 1750 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Obviously, the government college has fewer fees but if you live in the GEC hostel then you have to manage your eating-related stuff because there is no facility for eating in the GEC hostel, but yes now the canteen has been started in the hostel also. You will also get scholarships according to your result, like MYSY, FoodBill, and Digital Gujarat accordingly.

Campus Life

Annual Fest and tedh fests are also organized in our college with the gap of some time periods. Books are available in the library of college and the buildings are nice, you can play sports when the event happens and extracurricular activities also.

Admission

The admission process is simple, students will get admission to GEC, Bhavnagar through ACPC and also on the basis of JEE cutoff. if your rank is quite good then you will also get the seat as per TFWS and the college has a very nice campus, the best faculties in the computer engineering department. All faculties are kind and supportive of all the students.

Worth it for academics

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for placements I don't know any companies name that come to college for placements. The highest is 22lakhsper annum and average is 4lakhsper annum 92% placements ratio in IT department.

i chose GEC-BVN mainy because i live in bhavnagar,and staying close to home seemed like best option.I had the chance to get in GEC-Gandhingar but both college have same syllabus and simillar placement records.I also applied in LD and VGEC but i did't have that much rank to get in.GEC-BVN and all college of engineering in gujarat has same admissioon process through ACPC.in ACPC they consider your 12th bord marksheet and GUJCET mark and make rank for all student.process is smooth with online application and document verifaction.
