Review of NSUT East campus

According to Cuttoff, I was getting a tech branch in this college in other colleges I was getting non-tech and core branches so I joined this college. Overall faculties are decent and most faculties are supportive. Faculties are improving with time. Most of the faculties are qualified from reputed institutions. Course curriculums are similar to that of NITs.Exams are relatively easier to pass. 75% attendance rule is applicable in this institution.

Internships are provided from the beginning of the 5th semester every top tech company visits the main campus you have to go there for internship tests. Many students also apply for off-campus internships. Getting a chance of an internship is less as compared to placement.

Placements are the only thing for which I have joined this college. Placements and internships take place on the main campus. on-campus internships are started from the beginning of the 5th semester. I also met the seniors from the East Campus who were interned in Microsoft, Atlassian, etc. The average package is around 18 LPA.

For the first year, the fees were around 220000 and an increment of 10% on a yearly basis. The course fee is around 9 Lakh. Merit cum means scholarships are also provided on the basis of family income. For Internships and placements, you have to go to the main campus in 3rd and 4th year.

This is the only thing our campus lack. Situated in East Delhi. very little campus around 8 acres as compared to the main campus. The fees are also the same as that of the main campus. The campus is improving with time. The library is open from 10 am to 6 pm. Events are happening on the main campus, so you have to travel there. overall sports facilities are decent.

To become eligible for Btech Course You have to give and clear JEE Mains with a good score. To get admission you have to apply to JAC Delhi counseling. At my time 5 rounds and a spot round were conducted. After JEE Mains application for JAC is opened. In JAC Counseling around 85% of seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates (who have done class 12th from Delhi) and 15% are for Outside Delhi Candidates. As it is a State University certain reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Girl candidates are provided.
