Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have chosen Civil engineering in B.Tech because I have interest in construction and all, Faculty members are enough for the number of students. The qualification of faculty is not that much good. Only some of the faculty members give proper guidance. Teaching method, If there is a subject then the lecture is conducted 3 hours a week and 1 lab session a week. There are 3 sessional exams, the average of these 3 are taken as internal exams. These sessionals are taken every month. Final 1 external exam, Passing criteria for sessional exams are the average marks should be equal to or above 12 marks and for external exams passing marks is 24 in most of the subjects. It is not that difficult to pass these exams.

Placement Experience

4.5

In the 3rd year, students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. For civil engineering companies of Adani visited the previous year, College's highest package is 30LPA and the average is around 4.5 to 5LPA. Almost 80% of the students get placed in campus placement. My plan is to open my own company.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the Civil engineering course is GIA therefore the fees structure for one semester will be 4500rs and for the one year it will be 9000rs The one scholarship provided in the college named DDU Aluminium Association Merit Cum Means Scholarship. The scholarship gives up to 25,000rs.

Campus Life

4

Every year one fest is organized named as Felicific Week, It is conducted for one week. In the year 2023, it was conducted in the month of March. The availability of books and journals is good in the library. Classroom are old and the benches are uncomfortable to sit in for a 1-hour lecture. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted many times.

Admission

For eligibility for the course for B.E/B. Tech only 12th pass and any of the entrance exams should be given from GUJCET or JEE Mains any one or both of them, The admission process is through ACPC. Fees for ACPC registration is 300rs. The admission process starts in the month of June or July. Admission can also be done through management quota visit college offline. No improvement is required in the admission process as it is fair enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
