UIT RGPV BHOPAL REVIEW

I choose Civil engineering for the completion of my engineering study. I choose this course because of my interest in this field. Because as we know that nowadays there is high demand in IT section. But after 3-4 years we can see a boom in core branch engineering jobs.

As I am a first-year student. So I don't have enough knowledge about it but as I get to know from our seniors, there are very less companies who give internship opportunities. We have to apply outside the college for doing an internship because according to the new rule we have to complete 2 internships before the completion of our first year.

The placement opportunities given by the college are good. Students get placed in many companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Students from 7 semesters are eligible for campus placement. The highest package of our college is approx 20-25 lakhs and nearly 50-60% of students get placed in college.

The fees of my college are 35000. In my college, the fees for all the fields are the same. I don't get any scholarship as I am a general cast student. I didn't know about any campus internships. And I get to know that students get placement but they got very low salaries.

First of all, if we talk about the annual fest then there are 2 annual fest conducted every year. The first one is Mahasangram in which they conduct sports competitions and include all types of sports. It is a 5-day event and all the students take part in it and get special surprises. The second one is Shankhnad, which is a cultural event in which students perform dance, song, standup comedy, and many other things. It is an inter-college event.

I give JEE Mains entrance exam. There I score 84 percentile and so I am eligible for Jee Adv. but unfortunately, I didn't qualify for it. So I appeared in MPDTE counseling for engineering colleges. Where they give admission on the basis of our score in jee mains exam and our preferred college. As I choose UIT RGPV College as my top priority, so after counseling I got into this college and take admitted to it.
