UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Course curriculum is well managed and subjects are distributed nicely in 4 years time. Although lack in practical application of many subjects in real time industry and their application in further academics is not taught properly. Semester exams are good but repitative nature of questions makes it easier, apart fr semester exams small quaterly exams are of no use.

Cost of education comparing to other private engineering college is very less here, you can opt out of bus service after 1 year to make it even cheaper. Various scholarships are provided by government for students with low family income making it almost free for these students. Some other scholarships for other backward castes, sc, st students makes them earn some money throughout the semester.

Campus life is below average, as the fee is less in this college the amount of activities are very less. All student led activities are not supported by college at all. Only few tearly activities takes place in which one is sports fest and other is a 3 day college fest in which other extracurricular activities are held.

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee. With having a minimum percentage of 60? in 12th class. Apart form the standard admission process lateral entry can be done in 2nd year of the college if someone wants to switch there college incase seats are vacant at that time.

There are 2 core faculties on 60 students among which 1 deals with junior year batches i.e. 1st and second year batch and the others deals with senior year batch making each of them responsible for almost 100 students each. Faculty lacks basic knowledge and just dictate whatever notes they have. One to one interaction is very poor, they don't help in any personal growth.
