Likes

The college was very good and I liked almost everything in the college
The campus life was very good and had made some good friends
The placement oopportunities were also good

Dislikes

The branch of Electronics and Communication was too hard unlike other branches
There should have been more club activities
Few classrooms were too old which should have been reinnovated

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well-updated and was given in detail. And the faculties were very friendly and helpful. I chose this course as I was very much passionate and interested in it. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1:40. And the faculties were very helpful and friendly. All the faculties have done their M.Tech and most of them have completed their Ph.D.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees for the Management quota were 2.5 lakhs per year. And there were intakes through other entrance tests like KCET and COMEDK. The admission fees through KCET would be nearly 1 lakh per year and the fees through COMEDK were almost 2 lakhs. I didn't apply for any of the scholarships.

Campus Life

There were 2 fests Technidarshan and Anandotsava, later they merged it and made it one and that's Incredia. It was done in the month of February which will be there for 5 days. The college has a very good library with all the books. And there were a lot of Sports and extracurricular activities.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth and they were very helpful and friendly. The eligibility for the course is that one should have got at least 40% in 10th and 12th respectively. The application form will be on the website of the college where you can download the form and you can fill in all the details. And then you can submit your application form. Once you submit your application form you will get a confirmation mail.

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.
