Dislikes
- The way IGNOU work it's very disappointing , if you got admission in IGNOU you can't get the study material it's come when the exam is near or even sometimes it's come after exam.
- There's is no such kind of placement opportunities from IGNOU
- The classes is very irregular and even some times there is no classes were taken
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I have an interest in this course, it has a diverse field of study and it gives so opportunities to work. The ratio of faculty: to students is 1:20. The faculties have Ph.D. degrees in their hand. And they are masters in their field. The term exam gaps are 6 months and it's moderate questions asked in the exam.
Internships Opportunities
No companies come as it's an open University and no internships you can get from IGNOU. As I study in anthropology I didn't get any opportunities from IGNOU. IGNOU is an open University so it's quite a waste of time to think to get jobs or internship opportunities from IGNOU.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think maybe I'm not aware of it but there is no hike in fees. And in 3 years course, the cost is 6000 a year. And there are 200 fees taken as exam fees. Per paper cost is 200. There is a scholarship that IGNOU provide to their scholars. As I don't apply for it I don't know much about it.
Campus Life
As it's an open University so there is no annual fest & tech tests are conducted. You can get books from the main campus or you have to wait 2 or 3 months as it delivered by IGNOU by post. There are no libraries in the university. The classroom is good, but there are no such facilities that one expects. I think there are no such curricular activities conducted in the campus area. There is no such groups or clubs run by students as I mentioned it's an open University.
Admission
One has to pass his / her 10+2 with minimum 45%marks. You can apply for the course from the main IGNOU website, the application fee required for the course is 6000 and the application data is probably start in the month of April for the June semester and another application date of admission starts in December. I think no improvement need in the admission process as the university extended admission days for months.
