The overall remarks are good enough for you to know that the future of yours with Jain is bright and you dont need to worry about anything while a student.

Entrance Preview

I wrote Jain entrance test, to join this university. I would suggest others to do so as well. There was a counselling session and it gave us all the help like incase any loan requirements, and type of stay hostel or PG or a day scholar. The course I chose is through my passion for languages and computers, incidents and happenings don't decide what you want to chose. The subject was beyond what I wanted and hence I chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Practical learning is given higher importance, if you want to do a research then there are faculties who will make sure you are capable of it. Doesn't matter if you are in year 1 or year 4. A project is a project. Ideas can come from anywhere.

Internships Opportunities

The internship provided is once through the 8 semesters but one can apply extra days leave during semester holidays incase they are on a internship.

Placement Experience

The placement procedure is as the same as in other branches of JGI. The usual placements, for a placement not only marks are important, socialising is also a key role.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure maybe a bit stern but if you have written the university entrance, then you have an option for scholarship. It is available from 2nd year only if you get across the given target of marks. Rest hostel and canteen fee are included which is more than worth.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is amazing with great hygiene and a well maintained environment for studying and peace. Serenity is highly regarded here.

Exam Structure

The exams are stern and the paper is creative enough to bring out the artist or the author in you

Faculty

The faculty team is more or else a family, only until you are not proven guilty. The point that teachers are more friendly than friends itself is highlighted in this university.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements in our college to company like Amazon and infosys.students become eligible for campus placements for 6 or 7th semester.i think so minimum package is 8 lakhs per year and max is 35-50 lakhs.it depends on the way students give their interview the percentage of students getting placement might be somewhere around 30-35 percent.i have some start-up ideas such as real estate or hostel business

Placement Experience:

Students of 4 year are eligible for placements and students of third year are eligible for internship.given they have more than 7 cgpa with no subject which is uncleared that is having active backlog .My plans is to get a pre placement offer through my first internship.Big companies like microsoft ,Tata ,wipro, boeing come to college .percentage of students getting placed increase every year .This year it was 60 percent.Roles offered and placement depend on your field of interest and which companies you are applying for .
