Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the course because I think it has a better scope for the future moreover I am also excited to learn about computer technology and its basics. There are numerous faculty members in the institute. The qualification of the faculty member suppose to be Ph.D. level moreover their teaching is fascinating and good. Two exams are conducted every quarter of the year and it was really difficult to get good marks

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees depend on the caste reservation. It cost roughly 1 lakhs per semester in addition to the hostel fees. Most students applied through National Scholarship Portal and opted merit-cum-scholarship. Talking about placements, the placement percentage is pretty high which is roughly 75% every year.

Campus Life

Every year the college conducts a festival called Ougri in March. Tech Fest is also held once every semester likely in February. There is one Library on campus and it consists of more than 500 books related to engineering. I would rate the infrastructure and the amenities of the classroom 4 out of 10. Sports are also held once every academic year and various items were introduced. There are no social groups that I know of or any clubs and website in this matter

Hostel Facilities

Well, The hostel rooms provided by the college are pretty decent, unlike the classroom. Meals are often delicious but not always and there isn't a menu. It's different meals every day. The registration process for the hostel accommodation can be done through the official website of the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 32400 per year

Admission

The admission process was a little complicated though. The eligibility for the course depends on your Jee mark score alternatively it also does depend on your caste reservation. The application form is available on the Jee official website, where the fees also depend on caste reservation too.

My College

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

My Harsh but Real reviews

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

NIT Manipur : Opportunity to the best.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
