What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the space they give to students with extra talent in fine arts such as dance, music, art.
- Difficulty level in exams are moderate. The environment is nature friendly
- They put special emphasis on checking ragging. None has that ability to take ragging of their juniors.
Dislikes
- Professor sometimes won't listen to you and they would try to blame you for their mistakes
- College mates are not that friendly or concerned. You have to handle everything all alone. Unity lacks among classmates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it's an integrated course of b.ed with b.sc in just 4 years. A number of faculty depends on the papers to be taught in a semester and no.of students is around 48-50. Most of the faculty members are having doctorate degrees although their teaching methods need some improvement. Term exams are so timely no rescheduling of any dates that are being given in the academic calendar. They are very disciplined in their exam process. The exam's toughness level is moderate we can easily pass if gone through the materials provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a little bit more than what they deserve for this course. Because they don't have to spend that much. Scholarship for first-semester toppers Scholarship provided by Bihar government I am studying in my first year right now so I'm not aware of a job or stipend but one thing is that they have campus placement from KVs, Montessori and DAV, DPS.
Campus Life
Annual fest named Aaron, it is organised every year with great enthusiasm and most of students take part in this. They also organise fests at the department level. The library is full of books related to different courses and also many important and famous pieces of literature. The classroom contains a smart board and blackboard desks. Sports tournaments are often organised among departments. A social group can be found on Instagram named cusb_ diaries Cusb_ b.scb.ed
Admission
The first step you have to appear in CUET. Eligibility criteria are having subjects like Physics, chemistry, maths/biology, teaching aptitude, English and general test in CUET test. If you have already registered for the university at the time of cuet application then they will send you a mail to initiate the registration process otherwise you can check their official website. The application fee would cost you rs 500 for obc and 800 for general. Reservation for obc is just about getting comparatively low cut-off marks than the general category but not that much only a difference of 30-100 marks. One important improvement they need is to publish the names of selected students after every cutoff. They follow a very disappointing procedure that they publish a final merit list of whole students after taking amounts for admission.
