Course Curriculum Overview

4

I belong to a rural background and I always wanted to serve the rural people therefore I joined IRMA as it offers jobs in the development sector. Faculties are very good and experienced almost every faculty has a PhD and they publish their research papers also. The teaching method is participatory in nature. In Irma we call ourselves participants and we participate in everything possible be it academic or other activities. We get exam whole term schedule before starting of each term and everything is done timely be it classes or exams. The first two terms were very rigorous, and we need to extend our limits to adapt to the rigorous curriculum but after 2 terms things become easy not because the courses become easy but because we continuously learn new things, adapt to this difficult course, and be better versions of ourselves.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Currently, I'm doing my internship and My internship is with Banas Dairy. My project is to design a business for dry fodder in the Banaskantha district. It includes the estimation of dry fodder requirements, finding sourcing options, logistics, and economics to develop a business. My stipend is 32000 per month.

Placement Experience

4

After 4th term in the month of January, placement week gets a start and everyone gets placements. This college offers 100% placements. Last year there were 350 offers for 240 students. The average package of the college is 1550000 and the highest was 2700000. I want to go into the development sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite affordable a total of 1585000 for two year course including all expenses (books, hostel, mess etc). We can take loans for any bank to pay the fee and it is very easy to avail of loans. There are many scholarships such as merit basis, Murray asset foundation, IDFC bank, etc. The college offers 100% placements with an average CTC of INR 155000.

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many events organized in the college. We include the diverse culture and fests from all states are celebrated. Annual fest is organised in winter. we have access to books and journals in the library and if we require a book or softcopy that is not in the library then we can request the librarian and he make sure to make it available for us. The classrooms are very good, the ambiance is very lively, ACs are there and chairs and desks are also quite comfortable. One class has an occupancy of 70 students. We organize various sports activities such as Irma premiere league for volleyball, football, and cricket. We have section wars for sports and other cultural activities also. The main sports event between the two batches is "Sangharsh". There are so many clubs and committees that organize events the whole year and totally run by students only.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel rooms are very good fully furnished with chairs, desks, beds, almirahs cupboards, etc. Food is good but not every day. There are some items on the menu that I don't like. It includes 3-time food. This college is totally residential college and you do not get the choice to stay outside.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. One should have completed graduation in any field and then appear for CAT or XAT exam and if one clears the cutoff according to their category, they get shortlisted for the Writing ability test and then a personal interview. application form can be found on the official website of Irma, its fee is INR 2000.

Interview Experience

4.5

During my time there was no GD because the whole process was online. There was a writing ability test and it is based on mostly critical analysis of ongoing topics. The topic for my WAT was whether Split captaincy in the Indian cricket team is good or bad. The interview is mostly based on your personality. Whether you can withstand with offerings of college or not. I prepared from unacademy.

The course is like they say we are not teachers here we are, mentors, to guide you and jot to teach you as you have grown up now so should learn things by your own self so the course is as such and the faculty is like everywhere you will have the same situation it's OK.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.

Remarks:

The University is one of the top private universities in India. Ranked 2nd among Best colleges in Gujarat by Times. After reading this article, I searched its official website online and read it's detailed brochure and couldn't stop myself from the application form and the second reason were my grandparents as they live in Gujarat. It asked me to fill all my personal details regarding 12th marksheet scoring 72% and BBA in which I scored 75%. Further I gave CAT exam with 85 percentile. After submitting all these documents I got call from the university accepting my admission.
