Likes

Hostel rooms are good and are cleaned at every alternate day Good management of washrooms and bathrooms and the hostel is very much near to the college which makes things easy they provide tables bed bookshelf chair cupboard
Labs are well maintained with a good study environment the auditorium is big and nice where different activities happen the library is good with so many books updated timley and it is very much fun to study in the library

Dislikes

Mess food can be improved by removing dishes like biriyani egg curry jeera rice etc which noone likes here and have a worst taste there is rice dal sambar almost everyday while the vegetable gets changed

The course is good and covers all the things that may be required to be a complete computer professional and includes many subjects that help to increase our practical skills Faculty were average for me Some faculty are very nice while some need to improve Still good enough faculty

The college provides you with many internship opportunities many cells from institutions like iit Bhubaneswar come here in collaboration with our college to provide us with the internship College is very much concerned about providing the best to the students

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for an international student is Rs 1250000 for all four years including all the things like food and hostel tution fees which is very good and worth it But they will charge you an extra 2000 as a vtu registration charge exam fees at the end of every sem

Campus Life

Life is good but compared to other universities it's not that good we have fests like Cultura which is awesome otherwise many fests won't happen here Campus is not that much large but still its descent

I applied as an international student minimum criteria were 45% in +2 level we were under the PIO I applied through an education consultancy in my country and they guided me for the admission and after admission I recieved a offer letter as a seat booking

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
