Course Curriculum Overview

3

This is a five-year program, where the first 2 years you have general papers, that is BA or BBA papers. The faculty is very average, there are some good experienced faculties but most are new and inexperienced. Exams are conducted, a 20 marks mid-semester exam, and a 50 marks end-semester exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee I would say is on the higher side, 3 Lakh 40 thousand is the tuition fee, apart from it the hostel fees are different depending on the type of hostel one chooses. There are a few scholarships but not merit-based. Only each year the batch topper gets some discount

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is good. It's fun, no major restrictions are there. All festivals are celebrated in the hostels. There are many societies one can join, theatre music dance. They have a society for nearly everything.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels are good. Decent enough. Comfortable, the pro of living in a hostel is the 24/7 library facility. The food in the mess is also all right, better than most places. The room will include a bed mattress pillow cupboard table and chair.

Admission

KIIT conducts its own entrance exam and takes students from that. There is no cutoff as such for admission, most people get admission. Apart from it they also take admission based on your CLAT scores.

Placement Experience:

Students of NLUO primarily get placed in Law firms, Corporate Organisations and Policymaking Orgainsations. Placements depend on the conditions of market economy. But every year, several Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 law firms recruit minimum 40 students at NLUO. If the market conditions are right the same can go up to 80. Further students also get placed from internships in addition to those in campus placements. Other students go for judicairy preparation, litigation and other competitive exams

From 8th semester students become eligible for placement. Quickflex and some other companies visited our university and around 15-20 offers are made. The highest placement is 500000rs per year and the average package is around 350000 per year. 20-25% students get placed. My 1st plan is to get placed somewhere and then start my preparation for judiciary.
