Course Curriculum Overview

I chose electronics and communication because it is time to build a career in this field. The faculty is excellent and helpful to all the students. They are highly qualified and have more than a decade of experience. Exams are conducted on a regular basis and are moderate to tough.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 26990 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Amazon, intuit, cognizant, and TCS visit for internships. There are a lot of internship offers made to students from the 5th semester itself. Some of them get placed directly on the basis of their work. Stipend is quite good.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards, students are eligible for placement. Our most famous companies are Amazon and Microsoft. Around 45 companies visited for campus placements. The highest package was around 48 LPA, while the average stood at around 9.5 LPA. 80-90% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual tuition fee is a moderate amount given the level of education here. Students from weak backgrounds do get remission on tuition fees. Students can also avail of other scholarships. Research students get a monthly stipend for their work.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is Ougri. Our library is small yet well-maintained. The classroom is quite basic and lacks a lot of modern tech. The sports facility is good and tournaments are organized in various sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is basic and quite clean. The room includes a bed, an almirah, a table, and a chair. The registration process is simple and can be done through an online portal. The hostel fee is around 57000 per year. Mess food is not good at all.

Admission

To take admission you have to go through Jee Main. You can find the application form on Jee the main website. There is a certain number of seats reserved for OBC, SC/ST, and PWD candidates. Counseling is done through JOSAA.

My College

Placement Experience:

From 3 semester students become eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies which visited are ICICI Bank Newgen Tata digit etc. 85.9% of cse student got placed. The highest package was 42 LPA and average package is 8to 11 LPA. I wanted to start my own company. Our college also provide us the experience by giving us internship opportunity.

A review of Indian institute of information technology senapati Manipur

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know IIITs are running on new curriculum. We have lab practicals after completing theory in the classes.the teaching method is good according to me. The exams are too frequent. According to me there should be only one midsem exam instead of 3 assessment .And a end sem exam Midsem and endsem exams are enough according to me.

My Harsh but Real reviews

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cse ongoing trend, that's why taken that. Curriculum syllabus +few more other topics =placement That means the level of your placement depends on your weightage of that few more topics For every semester there will be 3 assignment and one final exam. Few days before exam is enough preparation. The course curriculum should change completely for India not just for us and teaching methods are good for senior professor but not juniors

IIIT MANIPUR , YOU SHOULD OPT. OR NOT?

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

the placements here are not good like the fee is very high but the average placement are not near to it i.e ROI is very bad also here many students prepare for gate or cat or someone of them who got placements are their own hardwork and patience

NIT Manipur : Opportunity to the best.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, students become eligible. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, and several other companies come. The highest package was around 35 LPA and the average is around 5-6 LPA. Every time 95% of students get placed.

About NIT MANIPUR

I have applied to many private collages like LPU, Paurul univerity , Saastra , vit , klu, vignan , DR. MGR, satyabhama like these many collages. And i got confirmed admission from NIT MANIPUR . By writing JEE mains i got good percentile and kept for councling and NTA has alloted this collage. As it is good collage i also accepted the seat . No i didn't get rejection letter from any institution .so nothing went wrong .
