Course Curriculum Overview
I took up this course as AI could have an impact in the future. Some faculty members are very knowledgeable and easy going but at the end of the day, you'd have to study from the pdf notes. It's easy to pass the exam. The student-faculty ratio could be around 1:25. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and the teaching methods could be improved a little. Internal exams are conducted every 2 months. There are a total of 2 internal exams and a semester-end exam.
Placement Experience
Students can be eligible for placements from the 6th semester. A lot of companies like Google and Amazon recruit students from Reva. Nearly 100% is claimed by the college but to be eligible for placements, you need to maintain a minimum of 7.5 CGPA. After the competition of the course, I'll sit for placements or maybe do MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I joined by writing an entrance test, the fees I pay are 1 lakh and 9 thousand rupees a year. For the same course, a management seat costs nearly 3 lakhs per annum. I have friends who've worked on startups that were funded by the college.
Campus Life
The annual fest is usually conducted in April and tech fest and hackathons are conducted on a regular basis ( once every 3-4 weeks). We have a well-equipped library and borrowing books is very affable. Most of the classes have a projector and we have nearly 7-8 seminar halls.
Admission
I took up KCET exam to get admission to this college. I got a 10,972 rank in KCET. The cut-off for my course was around 18k for the general quota. Anyone who has studied for 7 and more years in Karnataka can write KCET and get admission to this college. The application forms are available on the Karnataka Examination Authority's website.
