- I liked that our college is Taking students out of India to other universities ofcourse you have to pay for it but it gives you opportunity to go out and explore other options
- I also liked the sports culture of the college how compatitive it is to be in the college team
- You can get free medical treatment in the hospital
Dislikes
- Fees are quite high and you are not getting worth infrastructure
- Very strict attandance policy if you don't fulfill the 75% attendance you can not give exams
- Infrastructure their is only one building in which all the branches study
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good I choose electronics and telecommunication so it's a core branch they will give you the whole course and curriculum before starting the term so you would know what you are studying in the upcoming year. I chose this course because I was not getting computer science that's the first reason and I have quite some interest in IoT and VLSI that was also a reason. Faculty: Students are 1:10 faculty are well qualified, most of them have done Ph.D. in their respective fields so they are quite knowledgeable also the teaching method is good. All the lectures and labs are on time labs have sufficient equipment. Term exams are also on time odd sem-term exams are in the month of November and in even sem-term exams are in the month of May and you get 10 days of preparation left before the exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of one year is 260000 including exam fees and any other fees. You don't have to pay the full amount you have to pay on a semester basis the fees are quite high depending upon the facilities they are giving but it's a problem for all colleges in Pune. I don't have any knowledge of scholarships and on-campus job opportunities.
Campus Life
Two feats were conducted during the one year first in the September/October sports fest which goes on for a week it has most of the popular games and you can participate in all of them if you wish to it is a branch wise so if you are in CSE so you have to fight against other branches it is quite a fun event. The second fest is the cultural fest which happens in March in which there are many events that you can participate in. Also at night, there will be concerts and stand-up comedy shows. Classroom amenities are okay still it is old school classes like benches and no AC. There are many sports and extracurricular activities happening on the campus and getting into the sports team is quite difficult because there are many good players on the college team. There are many clubs that are run by the students like photography, entrepreneurship club, dance club, music club, etc.
Admission
I applied through Jee but the college also conducts its own exam SITEEE which is 1 hour long and have 3 section maths, physics, and chemistry, all the sections have around 20 questions but it's very easy so students can complete it on time. You can find its application form, fees, and date on their site www.sitpune.edu.in There are no reservations or benefits in this college. And I think the admission process is very smooth you will not face any problems.
