Likes

Good campus structure and layout, well planned parking
freedom with things you can do and how you can approach teachers
college is very supportive about future endeavors

Dislikes

ventilation is a bit poor as it gets too humid during summers
size of the campus sometimes bugs as we have a lot of students
could work a bit on the administrative staff attitude and work pace

Course Curriculum Overview

Was interested to get into CyberSec Field, The faculty experience is different with every teacher but seems to be better compared to other colleges, All the faculty either has a doctorate or from IIT or such big instituitions

infosys, wipro, tcs, Capgemini, bmw, mindtree, sap,, intoit, adobe, accenture, oracle, ibm, cognizant, dell, hp, hcl, licious, amazon and other such common companies from bangalore ... they usually come for research projects or new ideas

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to sit in placements from 7th Sem and from what I've heard we have the most number of companies visiting us for placements as all branch students sit in placements at the main campus Around 350 companies visited last time, Infosys has mass recruited 100 people for 8lpa in this year's placements, if u can maintain a good cgpa you have a good chance of getting placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure is kinda affordable seeing the benefits and faculty you get compared to other colleges, DSAT is the name of the scholarship, the fees doesn't hike every year, it remains same throught

Campus Life

There aren't many fests but you have a lot of club activities going on all the time... journals and ebooks are also available at libraries, the classes are equipped with decent chairs projector and good lighting but could be better if the ventilation was proper, shouldn't be an issue in the new campus.

Admission

Need to pass 12th,Had an online entrance test called DSAT for scholarships that reduced the fee from 3.4lpa to 2.75lpa, application and fee details change everyone year so check it on the official website

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

St Joseph college of engineering mangalore,a honest and straight forward review.

The campus placements are pretty well and this year they are even more better .from 6 th semester onwards students become eligible for the placement and I have also planned to cover multiple cources provided by the college and some outside material also to get the market exposure and make my resume more stronger.The highest package offered by the companies is 48 lpa.The placement percentage ranges from 75 to 85 percent

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

I applied for Christ university for pcm course but the reason i didnt go with that is , i was waiting for results from nta neet and kea cet exams . the results came with extreme delay due to covid , but the admission process at Christ university was closed by the time of results and in the kea councelling i got dayananda Sagar university in 2nd round with less fee structure for cse compared to other management quota seat . i got government quota seat due to which i joined this college .
