Likes

Campus life is good there are a lot of trees in campus.
The campus size is huge and the buildings are well designed.
Students come from all over the world so there is diversity.

Dislikes

The weather in vellore is very hot and humid.
The college is very crowded there are almost 30k students.
Too much work load we have exams every 40 days.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is good the batch size is 260 and for each subject, we have 3-4 faculties. Everyone is Ph.D. holders. This college only selects teachers who have completed their Ph.D. One semester is for 4 months and we have relative grading.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Bank of America, etc. There were 14 thousand job offers to the students till April 2023 The highest package was 1.02 crore and the average package was 9.23 lpa.

Placement Experience

For our course, we have placement in the final year and there are many companies that come for the placement. We have to write an aptitude exam for the placement only if we clear that exam we can set for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 55 thousand per year. So for three years, it is 165000. There are many scholarships available in the college and they even provide cash prizes for top students of the class. The topper receives a 10000 cash price.

Campus Life

College life is actually very good there are many fests conducted. The main fests of the college are gravitas and riviera. Gravitas is the tech fest and Riviera is the cultural fest. Many top artists like Airman Malik come for the fest.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has many facilities like a basketball court, swimming pool, badminton court, gym, etc. The mess food is not that good but there are many restaurants available on the campus including Domino's.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

The admission is done through a merit list. Every year they will release an admission form in the starting. There are reservations for a few categories. The admission process is good. They take students based on the 12th percentage.

Accounting and Financing is my intrest When the world start to depend on AI, I started to learn Accounts and Commerce concepts. Placement Experience:

The placements in sastra is immaculate they have nothing to complaint of .Students from my course given placement training and eligible for placements from third year. Large scale of campanies have visited. some of them will be Tata consultancy(TCs), Paypal, federal banks ,Infosys etc. The highest package was 90000 per month and average package was 25000 per month. Students who have 8.5 cgpa or more will have pretty good offer from reputed companies. Plans after getting my degree is to do masters in abroad.

I applied to a few colleges for Btech Biotechnology but I finally chose VIT, Vellore because it clearly stood out in terms of academic qualities, facilities, and career prospects. I applied to several universities including SRM University, manipal Institute of Technology., and a state government college. SRM confirmed my admission but I chose VIT because of its Biotechnology Reputation, state of the art labs, vibrant research environment and exposure to industry collaborations. manipal rejected my applications because the entrance exam rank was slightly lower below the closing rank that year and I believe competetion was too high there. My Life inside VIT'V

I applied for tnea college and got my seat allocated in normal private engineering colleges B.tech cse. I applied for 2nd round too and got my seat allocated in a normal safety college but beside these studying in int mtech in vit vellore is better than studying btech cse in normal private college. LIFE AT VIT

I choose VIT for the following reasons: 1. The ambience and the greenary of the campus . The campus is almost 372 acres which is a pretty decent size. 2. The safety of girl students. Well I first dreamt of going into IITs, NITs and BITs, but due to my health issues, I didn't get the expected marks and so I can't make it in that college. At the same time, I have given the VITEEE exam as well , and fortunately I got this exam cleared with the good rank, and so I got Data Science as my second priority in VIT vellore and hence by suggestion of my seniors , I made my mind and taken admission in this college.
