Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in a cyber security course so I chose this course. About faculty are very good, they are well educated and few faculties perceived Ph.D. on some courses we have mid-term and end-term exams passing is 80.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Yeah, placement is 100 percent but the average package is 3 lakhs 50 thousand. The companies visited are TCS, Cabjemni, IBM, etc. This year's placed students count is 2,170.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students qualified cet, their fee is 60,000 per year for 4 years and the university offers other activities like sports, other curriculum activities, etc. And we get only an SSP scholarship apart from that we did not get any scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus environment is very peaceful and two fests will go every year mini-fest is Euphoria and the biggest fest is Invincia, we enjoyed it a lot in the fest and there are more books available and journals for engineering and law are available.

Admission

Eligibility of course depends on cet ranking. The application form we find on the university or presidency university website. The admission process is good at the university. Reservation depends on cet ranking and 371 j article.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Pros : World class infrastructure with moot court, sports fields like tennis court, cricket, football, volleyball and badminton court, Coffee Day shop, Hatti Kaapi, chaat shop, Stationary shop, Vending machines, Sodexo Cafeteria, Medical facility and ATM are inside the university.
