I take pride to say that i am an alumni of this college.

The college is very good and it gives us the freedom we want. We have a big playground and it encourages students in sports aspects. The college will have canteen till early morning 3 am so that when you are studying in the library also if you feel hungry you can buy and eat. The college also provides tea or coffee foe making you awake.

I entered the college by writing the COMED-K entrance exam, being conducted by the government of Karnataka. There is a basic interview process in which they asked the stream that we are interested in and why we are interested and all. There is a counseling process in which our final selection of the department was done.

I chose Computer and Science Engineering as i felt that there is a future scope in that. It concentrates more on Practical learning. During the tine i studied in the college, it is affiliated to Visweswara technological university. There are many research initiatives being taken by the college. There are elective options also available and you can chose them based on your interest in the subject.

The college lies in the outskirts and we won't have any near by company also to do the internship. But the college gives us nearly one month holidays to do the internship in different place and during my third year of engineering i did internship in Hewlett Packard in Chennai. We were not given any stipend. The experience was average and didn't reach my expectations.

The placement scenario is good but it completely depends on the basic cut off CGPA and the courses that you learnt like cloud computing, networking and cyber security, etc.. I did cloud computing course and was asked questions on that only. The percentage of the students getting placed is seventy percent. The major companies that come to our college are CISCO, Oracle, etc..The average package is 3.5 lakhs per year.

In my point of view, the fees is a bit high. The time when i am studying in the college i paid nearly two lakhs fifty thousand including hostel fees. But the hostel is very clean and green. You could have the feeling of feel at home. I am not sure whether the prices have increased after i passed out from the college.

The staff during my time of study were highly qualified and greatly experienced. There were very interactive but at the same time they were very strict during the time of submission of projects or assignments. The standard of teaching was very good. They used to encourage us a lot and took us to many industrial tours.
