Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for this course is Rs. 65,000 for 1 year in 2019 but it is increased to Rs. 95,000 nowadays. In this course we can get knowledge about the core subjects as well as the information technology. We can attend both the core and information technology industry placement hiring interview. So the actual placement trust percentage is increased 20% in this course. Only you have to gain the knowledge and enhance that for the emerging technologies. This course having the limited cut off to join in this stream. You have to achieve the good cut off to take this course. There are specifically 4 labs for students enhance the subject knowledge and gain the practical experience in the subjects. You can use these labs for the semester laboratory exams. The placement count also good in this department. You can surely take this course for getting a good job.
Campus Life
the campus of SNS College of Engineering, there are abundant facilities available for the students such as ICT Enabled Classrooms, Hostels, Library, Food Court, SPINE – The student recreational activity center, Open Auditorium with an accommodating capacity of approx 8,000 people, etc. Along with these, the institute provides the students with sports facilities like a fitness center, a soccer ground, a basketball court, a tennis court, an indoor cricket pitch, and many more.
Hostel Facilities
SNS College of Engineering hostel food is of good quality and served in a hygienic environment at fixed times. From 7:30 am to 8:30 am breakfast is served to the residents. Lunch starts from 12:55 pm to 1:55 pm. Refreshments are served from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Finally, dinner is served from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm The hostel ensures the overall development of the students and the students are provided with responsibilities to make them an active part of the functioning of the hostel through the hostel committee. Various cultural programs including Fashion Shows and hostel days are celebrated in the hostels for the residents. Residents are provided with a television set to ensure their entertainment.
Admission
The candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG Programs at the College must undergo the admission procedure laid down by the Department of Technical Education (DoTE) and Anna University. A candidate may apply through the Government Quota (single window counseling procedure) or the Management Quota (direct admission following the eligibility criteria). Eligibility Criteria For the UG Students: Candidates are expected to score a minimum of 45% marks (for the OC category students) / 40% marks ( for the BC, MBC, and SC / ST category students) in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
