Remarks

I want to say one thing about the college that the seniors here are very helpful. Whatever you need, and whenever you need they are there to help you out. They take extra classes and teaches you the things which are extremely important for internships as well as placements. I personally think it is this legacy of seniors which motivates the students and makes this college a great college.

Entrance Preview

I gave AIEEE and scored 213 marks in the exam and 90.4% in CBSE board. I opted for civil engineering in this college. The process of admissions in the NITs are same all over INDIA.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not up to expectation, most of the languages are self-taught. For research, labs are accessible even after the college hours. It is equipped with best technology equipment such as the PARAM SUPERCOMPUTER (purely Indian made).The 44 subjects or courses that we went through, were good in terms of having a feel of Mechanical Engineering. The competitive environment it provides helps students a lot in terms of enhancing their capabilities. And this is the reason that most of the candidates of NIT-A, who after completing their college, aspire for Job in Government Sector land up in a good place because of the competitive environment they had in college.

Internships Opportunities

Around 140 students out of 270 got an internship in 2016. Last year around 120 students from CSE and IT were offered internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for the semester is 40000.It is expensive and mess fee is 13,000 per semester for all Btech Courses. That it. Too feasible and affordable. Scholarships were also available. If you're in top 10% of your branch ( JEE Mains Rank for 1st years and CPI for others), you will receive an annual scholarship of 3000/-.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch. MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
