CMRIT? GOOD OR BAD CHOICE?

I took ECE cause I am interested in Electronics. The number of students in this specific course at our college is 250+ per batch as the least. Most of the faculty are PhD holders with years of experience and knowledge. They are very approachable and help you through your exams and placement procedures. VTU exams can be tricky to get high scores with thorough preparation it can be easier. Internal marks are comparatively easy to score.

There is a lot of clubs that help you through roles and internships with stipend but you have to be in contact with the people in charge and be in update. You have to find your own way in the herd. There are a lot of internships but the problem is you have to learn everything and hunt everything on your own.

Studdents are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Many companies like Infosys, WIpro, Bosch, Accenture, Adobe etc. (25+ companies) made visits last year alone. The highest packages are above 15LPA and the highest recorded ever is 25LPA more than 60% of students get placements.

The fees have become twice what they usually used to be. Financial Assistance is available through many banks and it is easy to apply too. There are students who do a lot of Paid internships and part-time jobs to build up their resumes

There are two fests conducted. An Interdepartmental fest called AURA takes place in Odd semesters where all departments compete in various cultural events. An annual college fest called CULTURA takes place in Even semesters where many students all around the college, as well as students from other colleges, participate and win cash prizes The library is well maintained with new editions of books constantly being updated and weekly as well as monthly journals are updated. There are smartboards in every classroom and the campus has seperate AV halls for any activities required. There are a lot of sports events in each semester including Inter-colleges as well as Inter Department.

I applied through Management Quota, I took the application form and discussed the details of the college at the admission block at college. The admission process is smooth and their discussion went smoothly too.
