- the placements provided by vit is decent and nearly app the students gets placed.
- the infrasturcture of the college is too good.
- if you are 9 pointer you dont need to sit in class and there is no 75% attendence rule for you.
Dislikes
- the 75% attendance criteria is like a nightmare for many students.
- the size of the campus is very big and sometimes you have to cover a long distance in short period of time.
- the fee structure of vit is complicated and many cant afford it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose CSE core as it is the most preferred branch in vit as the average package goes much higher than other branches. Most of the faculties are good and motivate students. The faculty-student ratio varies in different classes but nearly it is 1:60. We have three exams cat 1 cat 2 and fat in one semester it is easy to pass all of them.
Internships Opportunities
You are eligible for internships from 2nd year itself and you can also get summer internships for which you can get 14 creds. The college gives good opportunities to each student but you have to fight for it.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent in my college with the average package of 8 lpa from the fourth year a student is eligible to sit for placements. here almost every company came for placements like google, amazon, and Microsoft and they nearly gave 30-1cr packages total of 98% of students get placed. My plan is to do masters in artificial intelligence.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure here is complicated there are 5 categories in fee according to the rank you get in VITEEE the last fees in the two categories is too high and I will not advise you to take that No scholarships are there but if you are in Category 1 then it is a kind of scholarship only.
Campus Life
There are two annual fests in vit gravitas and Riviera. gravitas is the tech fest whereas riviera is a cultural fest .sports activities are too good in VIT you can play your favorite sport whenever you want day some sports are paid but the rest are free so campus life is pretty good in VIT.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in each block are of different kinds some are too good and some are below average. basically, there are three types of mess veg, nonveg and special in the special mess the quality of food is good and in the other two it's average. There are different rooms with different prices depending on your budget or if you want ac or not.
Admission
Eligibility criteria:- Candidates should have 60 % aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and maths and a minimum of 50% in all three, and their birth date should be after or on 1st July 2001 you can fill out the application form through the vit main site and check the last date of application there only and the rest of the details will be presented there.
