I am having a good time in my college.

Sports facility of the college is not good. Hostels are also less in number.

I appeared for JEE Mains exam and got admitted to this college based on my rank. There is no interview process only document verification.We have to give our preferences for the courses and according to the availibility of the students in a particular course one gets the course.It is a long process and it takes around 4-5 months.Firstly, I got Engineering Physics course according to my preference and then after final upgradation of the course I got Electrical Engineering.

Since it is a core engineering course it requires serious efforts to score good.We have our practical labs which are good and there is 3-4 labs in each semester.We have our research department also. Electives:- 1. SCADA Energy and Management Systems. 2. Switch Gear and Protection 3. Design of Electrical Machines.

Internship from college is difficult only top students can get that and stipend varies from 10k-15k. Others have to go to their HODs for recommendation letters and in this no stipend is given. I being an average student got internship with no stipend.

Placemet is good here 80-90% students get placed from campus every year. Major Companies :- Tata Motors, Reliance, Hero, Infosys, HCL, Maruti, L&T, Seimens, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Sandisk, Paytm etc.

We have our Fests from January or February including Technical Fest, Cultural Fest, Sports Fest etc. Everything is their and a large no. of students come every year to attend the fest. Attendance is around 1k. College authorities contribute in infrastructure needed and all organizing groups have to get sponsors on their own.

The course fee is increasing every year.Now for freshers it costs around 1lakh INR for 1st year and during my time it was 80,000 INR.

Yes, college provides scholarships but I haven't availed any as I am not eligible for that.

Extracirrucular activities are their like sports teams are their, technical teams are their also.

In 1st year you have to share your room with two partners. In 2nd and 3rd year same but roommates are of same branch. In 4th year separate rooms are provided for all 4th year students.

Every year their is an alumni meet in college in our Fest.

It depends on a particular student how he takes it. It is a chill culture for most of the students.

Faculty is good. All are well qualified and experienced. They always give us assignments on completing a particular chapter so that we can better understand what we have taught. Some teachers always give questions in the class and ask students to solve it and they explain it also. DTU has a good standard of teaching but not all teachers are same.
