Faculty is supporting . they provide you qith there intelligence but the thing is u have to benefit them .
The Clubs are nice . you get to learn. lot of things .
You are provided with opportunities to get out of your fears .

Dislikes

Strictness is more than it is necessary.
Food court is really expensive and tasteless .
U cant go outside even if you have no class without uniform .

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because Cse nowadays has a lot of scopes ahead. The students in our batch are very much because of corona year i.e. 2500. The faculty here is nice. we get to learn a lot from them and they help us with every idea like patents and research work.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 164000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship opportunities but the Thing is not all students get the benefits. Many have to find things on their own. you will not get time for projects as they are exams a lot of times in a month and that too is worthless. you won't get time for anything.

The placement inside our college is nice. They bring. a lot of companies for the placement. the intelligent students are separated in the mid. years and are given more benefits. The average package is 4.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here are genuine just like the other colleges but you can also opt for the Himachal campus as well because the fee there is less. Along with the hostel, it gets a lot for a normal financial family to adopt because the fee of the hostel increases a lot. The things like the food court and rest cost a lot.

Campus Life

Life on campus is quite good. The campus is small. you will get the books available at the library. The clubs are nice but you will have to give a lot of time in the clubs and your study can be left behind.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are nice. but the main thing con is that u need a gate pass for visiting outside of campus life is too strict inside the college you can't go outside the campus without a uniform. You can even order anything from outside and can't take things from the food court to your hostel room.

Hostel Fee: INR 132000 per year

Admission

In our year the admission was very easy just because of corona. I didn't get any reservation benefits . For admission, you have to contact the university through the number provided on the university website. They will provide you with the other number through which you can get ahead in the admission process.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
