My Life at CEC

Electronics and Communication was my major and electronics was my passion since childhood and also the electronics industry is booming in India which also inspired me to take up this major. The electronics department at CEC has well-qualified faculties. They adopt digital interactive teaching methods. All series exams and semester exams are conducted timely as per university instructions.

The students will be made available for placements from the seventh semester or even from the sixth semester. The main recruiters of the campus are TCS, Soti, Infosys, Wipro, Tata Elxi, Tech Mahindra, IBS, Quest Global, Cognizant, and much more. The highest package was offered by Soti and TCS Digital. The students who get placed are very large.

The fee structure is as per university norms for students admitted through government seats. There will be NRI seats which will have higher fees. There will be a scholarship for meritorious needy students and all scholarship made available by the government is also applicable in the college.

The campus provides a huge opportunity to exhibit extracurricular as well as technical skills. The campus has a strong base for IEEE, the largest technical society in the world. Students actively participating in IEEE will be able to grab opportunities for internal grants, scholarships, etc. Also, society provides an opportunity to exhibit technical skills. The college also has strong IEDC, Proddec, and other clubs which will provide opportunities for students to improve their technical as well as soft skills. The campus also has a sports club which includes badminton, table tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, chess, carroms, etc. The students take part in University level sports meet every year and bag prizes. Cultural activities are also active on campus. Overall campus will provide you great opportunities if you are willing to explore their life of theirs.

Admission to all Engineering colleges under the university APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University is through the state engineering entrance exam KEAM. The rank list of KEAM is decided upon the KEAM score and the 12th exam. The details of the entrance exam will be made available in all newspapers and on the official website. The reservation policy like all other exams is applicable for this exam too. And the fee will be considerably low for the students admitted through reservation categories in government and semi-government colleges.
