Likes

The ambiance, this collage location is wonderful and peaceful.
The culture , we get to know about all the people from south
The faculties, they are so friendly and well educated.

Dislikes

Gate passes, applying for outpass is a huge headache
As a cse student , marks would only be considered when the code works. Not about the logic.
Long walks , mess hostel academic blocks are like 1km away from one another, walking in a sunny day is stressful

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose btech cause it's the best in my college and had a good future. The faculty will be super friendly and decent. All faculties have Ph.D., There will be a total of 8sem and it's a little difficult to score maximum marks.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I'm not actually placed yet, but I have seen my seniors getting placed in intel, zoro tata, etc. They would have finished the project by 6th sem and placed on 10 lakhs per annum on average. Skills spoke as collage only provided the opportunity.

Placement Experience

From the 4th semester students are eligible for campus placements and all the huge companies definitely visit this college, last year the highest package is 50 Lakhs per annum which is quite high. In cse department, there is almost 100% of placement took place.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is pretty much high as it is a deemed college with an almost wonderful ambiance. I feel the money spent is worthful and the coaching is quite good. Though you can ask for a student loan as it is a well-reputed college.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. The ambiance and the weather would hurt to leave. The library is huge and peaceful, coming to sports we have football, cricket grounds, marathon fields, tennis and especially a swimming pool.

Admission

Admission entry is based on two factors, AEEE or JEE MAINS or Non-scholarship. Most people come by AEEE as NIT and Amrita have almost the same cutoff. All details are provided on the official website, Amrita.edu.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
