Likes

I liked the way of teaching, discipline and making things learn and understand by practical knowledge.
I liked the cleanliness in the campus and overall are well equipped classrooms and fresh experience while studying.

Dislikes

Canteen dosent have much place to sit in.
Fees was high for this course there should be some concession as i was already student from 11th grade.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course after completing graduation as I am studying for company secretary so need to do time management. I found bcom course relatable to my studies and flexible for my CS degree studies. Also, a lot of things present in bcom are known to us earlier till 12th grade. So this helped me to focus more on my Company secretary studies. Exams held is with moderate questions as the faculty teaches well and takes revision at least 2 to 3 times due to this practice it was easier t pass the exams. Also, exam timings were made flexible if there was a clash with CA CS, CMA, ACCA exams etc.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

They charge around 25000-30000 per year. These fees for me were a bit high and overall expenses aren't included like project and assignment costs, credit courses cost, travelling and study tour costs etc. There are scholarships available for which you can apply and also for the reservation benefits are there. You can also learn skills as a credit course and use it as an internship to earn. They make you ready job ready by enhancing the skills and confidence required for an interview so the placement rate is high.

Campus Life

Gusto is the fest every year which includes car fests dancing fest modelling shows acting and DJ nights. The college is also active in celebrating cultural fests. Commerce Week is held. The library is present in which many books are available regarding business stocks journals biographies main subject books etc. The classroom is well equipped with the best-quality benches smart classes fans and boards. Classrooms are large with natural daylight also. Two canteens are present with a very good quality variety of food at affordable rates.

Admission

The admission process was based on the previous year's marks which were 12th grade. The admission process was friendly and easier. The fee payment had two instalments. The 12th-grade pass was the eligibility to apply for Bcom in Indira College of Commerce and Science. The benefits of reservation wast being applied and I was from OBC.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

There is no entrance for this course the admission is on first come first basis on the basic percentage requirement I got 80% is in my CBSE SSC exam and was easily accepted in the college.
