I applied for S.I.E.S college of science,arts and commerce, Mumbai and kj Somaiya college of science, arts, and commerce. But i got confirmation in sk somaiya college. So I choose this college over others i Waited for this college because I heard many fascinating thing about this college. Other college like kj somaiya i didn't get admission because of percentage eligibility there was more cutoff comparatively. The eligibility of my college is minimum 80% above percentage and exams such as ssc board then CBSE board are required, if talking about experience I had a very mid experience because I didn't took all the required documents and i had to run to xerox place but one thing is good that the xerox place was available in the college itself . I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me. I did get rejected in KJ Somaiya because of my marks in 10th, KJ is known to have the highest cut-offs. The admission process is centralised and is done on the basis of merit and seat available. So basically I wanted to join somaiya Vidyavihar only it was a dream college for me and the process was like we have to apply or registered online on their portal then you all have to wait for the merit list if your name is there they then you will get a mail for the admission process where you will get an so my as mail id which is for educational purpose or any details or any information about the college or about the campus the svv net ID portal which will be provided in the mail from there you have to fill the form and you have to pay the fees online offline is not allowed like everything you have to pay online and after that when you will go to the college you have to collect your ID's before that you have to take appointment in that portal only in the ID Card section and then you will get an ID from the college campus...Read More

As in mumbai there are few colleges that provide honours degree, S K Somaiya is one of them. Also I was in Somaiya for my junior college so I had some great experiences during those years. The campus is also huge. And I had good score so it was easy to get admission but they do accept admissions through donations....Read More

i had applied to various different colleges like sies, pillais, v.g vaze, dy patil, amity and i even got into some even i gave the cet for the BBA course. but the campus of the somaiya is better as i saw about the other colleges and the admission process was okayish as they didnt guide us through anything....Read More
