- availablity of ac in hostels as well flat type rooms are given in which one kitchen and 2 balcony is present along with 3 bathrooms for 8 students
- college is providing all resorces for fest, sports, and food of or mess is quite decent except for some dishes
- senior are very frank and teachers also very supportive ,there also least strictness in hostels except if you damage property
Dislikes
- frequent electricity cuts, extremely low gender ratio, lack of campus canteen
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course solely due to my interest in cse and of course also to high rumoured packages in it. the faculty to student ratio in iiit Ranchi is 1:60 faculty of our college are highly qualified some of them are also retired faculty of iit and nits and others also have min a experience of more than 10 years. in our college there is a good culture of properly teaching students like in the coaching institute .there is the same level of dedication present. in one semester there is two time exam period that is mid sem and end sem and we have 5-6 subjects each semester
Placement Experience
our campus placement is good steadily rising every year as the quality of students is also increasing every year. from 7 th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. normally most of the companies visiting are from the software development program. The highest package is 83 lakhs and the lowest is of 6 lakhs from our college this year .placement is the strong point of iiit ranchi percentage of placement is more than 90 per cent in our college officially. my plans are to get placement after degree of course
Fees and Financial Aid
total fees, of course, is 1065000 for a 4-year btech course including the mess and hostel fees. cost to study is decent I am not too sure about the fees hike policy of the college till now this case has not happened
Campus Life
this year 2023 our first fest epemere was organised, tech fest not that big their fixed date is anonymous, the availability of books is very less l, the library size is of just one single room, journals do come in our library probably but requested books are maid available in week classroom are air-conditioned with projector and whiteboard currently sports facilities is not upto the mark and equipment is also less but it improving all types of social, tech , cultural clubs are present
Hostel Facilities
The room provided is for 2 students. It contains 2 beds, 1 fan, 2 tables and a chair. The bathroom provided is for 2 students. The mess is very hygienic \. The food quality is good and covers a large variety of food. The meal is provided 4 times a day. The registration process is quite simple for the hostel. If one needs to avail it he/she may contact the warden. The hostel costs 30000 per year including all the charges. The hostel provided is worth the cost. The hostel is near the college.
Admission
a person should have passed class 12 or an equal degree from a well-known board or national level boards like cbse or icse, I found the application form on the official online nta site after getting information from friends, application form fee was around 700 rupees jee mains usually happens two times around January and April. there is reservation present in jee exam and benefits are like decreased cutoff and seperate category rank for the seat allotment process. The cutoff of the exam is like this general -90 percentile, obc- 78 percentile, for sc and st it is as low as 40 percentile
