Life at LPU

I am a chemistry enthusiast and the M.Sc. The Chemistry Hons course at LPU provides the best courses and lab experience. The faculty here is the best, everyone is best in their respective fields and specialization. Each and every person on the faculty holds a Doctorate. For examinations, there are midterms and end terms but apart from that regular continuous assessments in the form of tests and report reviews are there whose marks are evaluated in the end.

I have not opted for campus placement so I do not have an idea. One can register on UMS for campus placement and discuss it with their respective placement coordinators. I plan to get an R&D job in a pharmaceutical or cosmetic company.

The fees are high in my opinion for a middle-class family. Apart from the fees if you want to take up placement you need to pay an extra amount which varies on the basis of the course you have opted for. it can vary from 6k-14k or more. I am an INSPIRE scholarship holder and received LPUNEST, which helped me reduce my fees.

The campus life is the best. there are a number of food courts and other outdoor activities like swimming dancing etc., which helps you to have a great time on campus. The university library has all the books available for every course subject and novels as well.

In hostels, you have options to select between 4-seater, 2-seater, 3 or 1-seater rooms. there is a bed, cupboard study table and a chair. The registration portal is available on the university website.

When I applied for Lovely Profesional University, I has to take LPUNEST, a scholarship exam designed for LPU students to avail of scholarship benefits and reduce their fee amount by a maximum of 44-50%. The form is easily available on the University's official website. You can register and log in to appear for the exam.
