Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course because I have found that students are learning through Research-based Learning of doing projects. It pushed me to immensely pursue and explore the walls of research culture in my course. Faculty-student ratio Is 5:20. Maximum all the faculties are professors in college as they are having PHD in their respective courses. Professors teach us through a unique approach called project-based learning or research-based learning. We have to learn through this approach. Especially Faculties are very supportive throughout the process.
Internships Opportunities
1. IIIT Hyderabad - Research and Development Internship (based on extraordinary performance) 2. Startups - Software Engineer Internship ( 10,000 to 30,000 per month) 3. Few Government agencies or companies
Placement Experience
Good placements are going in our college. From 3rd-year 2nd semester students become eligible for sitting in campus placements. Generally, internships get started before that such as in 2nd year 2nd semester or 3rd year 1st semester in our college. The highest package is 14 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA. 80 per cent of students get placed. I want to continue exploring Research culture more as a Research scientist in Top MNCs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here, our college fee structure will vary based on the course. But for our Electrical and Electronics Engineering course fee is 41500 rupees after 35000 rupees reimbursement from the government as a scholarship. If the respective student performs well in studies, research and activities, based on his talent and grip recognition and extra scholarship will be provided by the college itself.
Campus Life
Innofiesta and Elysian are the two technical events that are conducted around March or April every year. We have India's largest digital library which is under an MOU with IIT Kharagpur and our college (HITAM). All the facilities are provided in Classrooms along with neat and clean projectors and screens. There are a lot of clubs. Our college is famous for spreading programming culture. Many alumni now are in a good positions in FAANG Companies.
Admission
I have taken eamcet exam. We have to apply online when the state board of Intermediate education releases the process of application which will be usually started in January. There will be reservation benefits such as concession on tuition fees while pursuing graduation.
