Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because I like to study computers and their backend programming and their functions. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. All the faculties have a Ph.D. degree in the tech field. All the faculty have more than 10 years of teaching experience. The teachers are interactive with the students and very supportive. each semester is of six months and in each term, 2 exams are held. One is a mid-term and one is end term. The exams are easy to pass and score good grades.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which come for placement also offer internships with good stipends. The companies offer roles that include skills like technical and management skills. The companies evaluate the students based on their projects and their technical skill.
Placement Experience
The placements are very good. The highest package for the year 2022-23 was 87 LPA and the average was 16.3 LPA. From 3rd year onwards the students are eligible for placements. Companies like Amazon, google, adobe, and Walmart visit the campus. Amazon recruits 12 people from the campus offering 46 LPA each. 100% of students are placed on campus. I plan to continue my job after my placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is the same for the last 4 years. There are various scholarship opportunities for all categories. For reserved category students government provide scholarship and for general category students scholarship is based on merit and the financial condition of the student's family. The cost of the study is very less in Ranchi also the college provides support for the study. Students with low incomes can also get loan opportunities from college.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. There are various events conducted every month. The annual fest is ephemere and it was conducted last week. The hackathon was conducted in March. All the books required for academic studies are available there. The classroom is fully digital and air-conditioned. There are various indoor and outdoor sports played on the campus. There are various groups and clubs run by students of the college. The dance club, singing club, drama club literature club, technical club, sports club, and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is given by the college. It is a flat with four rooms. Each room has two beds, two chairs, two tables, fan. Each flat has 3 bathrooms. The mess has good food. The quality is also good and the menu covers a large number of items. The registration is simple. Those who want to avail it can talk to the management. The hostel fee is 30000 per year and the mess is 32000 per year.
Admission
For admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi students have to give JEE Mains entrance exam. Eligibility of the course is the students must have secured 75% in 12th boards and have cleared the cutoff of jee mains for admission. The exam is conducted by NTA twice every year in January and April. The forms are available 1 month before the exam on the Jee Mains website. The application fee is Rs 1000. For reserved category students, the application fee is Rs 500.
